Host a Village

WeShine partners with faith organizations, local government, and others who can offer private or public land for at least four years to build and operate a micro village. 

Minimum site requirements

• 4,500 SF, if adjacent buildings offer toilets, kitchen and community meeting space, and WeShine builds the sleeping pods (at least 10).
• 6,000 SF, if WeShine builds the toilets, kitchen and community meeting space and  sleeping pods (at least 10).
• Private land – except faith-community-owned property – must be zoned for commercial, multi-family, or employment. 
• Located within a few hundred feet of public transportation
• Within a quarter-mile of multiple commercial/retail/social/health services. 

WeShine provides

• A modest monthly rent payment.
• Commercial liability policy with the property owner as additional insured.
• Assistance to monitor property and prevent camping, illegal parking, and vandalism to the property.
• A perimeter fence and security cameras for the micro-village.
