Home Building Foundation-HomeAid Portland collaborates with the residential building industry to build, remodel, and repair shelter for people experiencing homelessness. More than 60 organizations in the Portland area have been assisted by projects completed by HBF, made possible through thousands of dollars of volunteer labor and donated materials that are given each year.
HBF is one of 19 affiliates of HomeAid across the country. HomeAid is an integral part of the fight against homelessness by building housing for charities sheltering people experiencing homelessness. Through collaborative partnerships with the home building industry, HomeAid affiliates develop, build and maintain safe, stable and dignified housing at a fraction of the cost, providing solutions to get those experiencing homelessness into the housing and support they need to get back on their feet.
